1. General information

AziMiner (referred to as “AziMiner”, “we”, or “us”) is committed to operating secure, compliant, and transparent services related to Bitcoin mining infrastructure and cloud hashrate products. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, process, and use personal data when you use our websites and related services (the “Websites”), in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) where it applies, and other applicable laws.

If you provide personal data about other people (for example colleagues or family), you must ensure they are informed of this Privacy Policy and that you have permission to share their data. You are responsible for the accuracy of data you supply.

2. Responsible person (controller)

For data protection questions, contact us at support@aziminer.com. Please include “Privacy” in the subject line where possible.

3. Data processing in connection with the Websites

3.1 Visiting our Websites

When you visit the Websites, hosting providers may automatically collect server log data that your browser transmits (for example IP address, date and time, user agent, referrer, and requested resource). This data is typically not merged with other datasets to profile you by default. Processing supports providing the site, security and stability, optimization, and internal statistics. Where GDPR applies, this processing is based on our legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

In cases of attacks, misuse, or unauthorized access, IP addresses and related data may be analyzed for defense and, where appropriate, shared with authorities. This is also based on legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

3.2 Cookies

The Websites may use cookies and similar technologies. Cookies can store an identifier so pages can recognize your browser and, for example, keep you signed in. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some features may not work if you do. For details on specific cookies we use, contact support@aziminer.com or see any cookie notice we publish on the Websites.

3.3 Data analytics

We may use analytics tools that rely on cookies or similar signals. Where IP anonymization is enabled, IP addresses may be truncated before storage. We may process usage data, navigation paths, and session duration to compile aggregate reports and improve the Websites. We do not use this information to identify individuals unless required to investigate misuse. Where GDPR applies, processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interests in improving our services).

3.4 Contact via the Websites

If you contact us through forms or email, we process the data you provide to respond. Legal bases may include Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in handling inquiries) and, where you consent (for example marketing), Article 6(1)(a) GDPR.

3.5 Newsletter (if offered)

If we operate a newsletter, registration may require your name and email. By subscribing, you consent to processing for sending the newsletter (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). Each message will include an unsubscribe mechanism.

3.6 Social media

Our Websites may link to or embed social networks. If you interact with plugins or links, those platforms may process data under their own policies. We are not responsible for their processing.

3.7 Event registration (if offered)

For events we may collect name, language, affiliation, title, payment details where applicable, and email. We use this data to manage registration, communicate about the event, and process payment. Legal basis is typically performance of a contract under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.

4. Other parties who may have access

With the exception of our hosting and infrastructure providers, we do not disclose your personal data to unrelated third parties unless you expressly consent, we are legally required to disclose, or disclosure is necessary to enforce our rights in connection with a contract or investigation.

Personal data collected through the Websites may be processed by service providers that assist us in operating the Platform (for example hosting, email delivery, analytics, fraud prevention, customer support tools, and payment or compliance vendors such as know-your-customer or anti-money laundering service providers where applicable). Those providers may only process data on documented instructions and are expected to implement appropriate confidentiality and security measures.

5. International transfer of personal data

We may transfer personal data to recipients outside the European Economic Area for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to hosting providers and to payment, compliance, or technology vendors. Where the receiving country is not subject to an adequacy decision under GDPR, we aim to implement appropriate safeguards (such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses) so that your data receives a level of protection consistent with EU requirements.

6. Data security

We implement technical and organizational measures appropriate to the risk, including access controls and encryption where suitable. No internet transmission is fully secure; you accept residual risk when sending data online. We are not responsible for third-party websites linked from the Websites.

7. Your rights regarding your data

Where GDPR applies, you may exercise the following rights (subject to GDPR conditions and any overriding legal obligations we may have):

7.1 Right to confirmation

You have the right to obtain confirmation as to whether personal data concerning you is being processed. To exercise this right, contact support@aziminer.com.

7.2 Right of access

  • the categories of personal data concerned;
  • recipients or categories of recipients (including recipients in third countries or international organizations, where applicable);
  • where possible, the envisaged retention period or the criteria used to determine it;

Contact support@aziminer.com to submit an access request.

7.3 Right to rectification

You have the right to obtain without undue delay the rectification of inaccurate personal data concerning you and, taking into account the purposes of processing, the right to have incomplete data completed, including by means of a supplementary statement.

7.4 Right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”)

You have the right to obtain erasure of personal data without undue delay where one of the grounds in Article 17 GDPR applies, including where data are no longer necessary, you withdraw consent and there is no other legal ground, you object under Article 21(1) GDPR and there are no overriding grounds, data were unlawfully processed, erasure is required for compliance with a legal obligation, or data were collected in relation to information society services under Article 8(1) GDPR.

7.5 Right to restriction of processing

You have the right to obtain restriction of processing where: you contest accuracy (for a period enabling verification); processing is unlawful and you oppose erasure; we no longer need the data but you require them for legal claims; or you have objected under Article 21(1) GDPR pending verification of overriding grounds.

7.6 Right to object

You have the right to object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, at any time to processing based on Article 6(1)(e) or (f) GDPR. We shall no longer process the data unless we demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds or processing is necessary for legal claims. To object, contact support@aziminer.com.

7.7 Automated individual decision-making, including profiling

You have the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling, which produces legal or similarly significant effects, unless the decision is necessary for a contract with you, authorized by law with suitable safeguards, or based on your explicit consent, as described in Article 22 GDPR.

7.8 Withdrawal of consent

Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal. Contact support@aziminer.com.

You may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of your habitual residence, place of work, or place of the alleged infringement.

8. Retention

We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described, including legal, tax, and accounting obligations, dispute resolution, and enforcement of agreements. When retention ends, we delete or anonymize data in line with our policies and law.

9. Minors

Our services are not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children without parental consent where required. If you believe a minor provided data to us, contact support@aziminer.com so we can take appropriate steps.

10. Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The version posted on https://aziminer.com applies when published. Material changes may be highlighted on the Websites or communicated where appropriate.
